The 98th Academy Awards took place in Los Angeles, marking the end of this year’s awards season. This week we are taking a look at all the winners, some of the losers as well as who was wearing what.

Timothée Chalamet seemed like he was well and truly on his way to finally winning an Oscar, this time nominated for Best Actor for his role in “Marty Supreme.” However, it was Michael B Jordan who was crowned the man of the night for his role in the horror movie “Sinners” instead of Chalamet. As expected, talk of the “Kardashian Curse” is all over social media, with videos of Kylie Jenner by his side as he lost.

In the Best Actress category, Jessie Buckley continued her winning streak for her exceptional performance playing Shakespeare’s wife in the movie “Hamnet.” The Irish actress has been dominating this category all awards season after winning a Golden Globe, a BAFTA award and a SAG Award. Other nominees in this category include Emma Stone and Kate Hudson, both of whom were on Best Dressed lists.

As we know, the Oscars are an important fashion event, with dresses from the ceremony and the after-parties being judged and ranked by fashion critics around the globe. Hailey Bieber turned heads at the Vanity Fair after-party in a leopard-print custom design by Armani Privé.
