The final letdown

Have you ever been completely engrossed in a good TV show that goes on for a good number of years and seasons only to be left totally disappointed by the final episode? This week we are taking a look at some of those shows whose endings left fans feeling letdown.

The thriller show “Killing Eve,” starring Jodie Cormer and Sandra Oh, ran for four seasons from 2018-2022. The show won numerous awards over the years included Golden Globes, Emmys and BAFTAs. In spite of this, the ending left fans furious. According to viewers it felt rushed and emotionally unsatisfying. They also hated the way Cormer’s character was killed off.

The hugely popular “Desperate Housewives” aired from 2004 until 2012 spanning eight seasons. The comedy drama followed the lives of a group friends, two of which were played by Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher. The suburban satire series also won various awards over the years but the finale did not live up to fan’s high expectations. Viewers felt that the characters were not given the proper pay-offs and critics agreed.
