With the Oscars coming up so soon, we have delved into every angle and aspect of the Academy Awards imaginable. This week we are taking a look at a very talented group of actors who have been nominated for an Oscar, some multiple times, but have never won.

Starting off the list is Michelle Williams who has been nominated a massive five times. That is a lot of nominations with no wins. She has been nominated twice for Best Supporting Actress and three times for Best Actress. Williams’ last nomination was in 2023 for “The Fablemans.” I was really confused by this one as I thought she’d won at least once.

Amy Adams is another one who has never won an Academy Award despite being nominated six times. Yes, you read that right, six times. One of those times was for Best Actress and the other five were all Best Supporting Actress nominations. This actress seems to have no luck, can you imagine going to the Oscars six times and never winning? Her last nomination was in 2019 for the movie “Vice.”

The actor Tom Cruise has never won an Oscar, but he has been nominated three times. Cruise was nominated twice for Best Actor in 1990 and 1997, and then once for Best Supporting Actor in 2000. I feel that Cruise, who has chosen to go down the action star path, won’t get another nomination unless he does a movie from a different genre. Until he does that, he has no chance of winning.

In other news this week, turn to our Nutrition pages to read some expert’s opinions on oat milk. Is oat milk better than cow’s milk? It might not be the “healthier” option after all.
