Music’s biggest night took place in Los Angeles recently with the 66th Grammy Awards. This week we are taking a look at all the winners, losers and the other major talking points from the ceremony.

The brilliant Taylor Swift was up there breaking more records and making history, this time by becoming the first ever artist to win the award for album of the year four times. Celine Dion, who we all know has been unwell lately, surprised the audience by announcing the category winner and presenting Swift with her award.

Record of the year went to Miley Cyrus for “Flowers,” which she performed. Funnily enough, it was Cyrus’s hair that was one of the major talking points of the night. There have been numerous articles written solely about her hair which was styled in a very outdated voluminous way. I don’t think Cyrus cared though as she was so ecstatic about winning her first Grammy, a fact which she pointed out again and again.

Winning an honourary Grammy, Jay-Z took to the stage with his daughter Blue Ivy, who performed with her mother Beyoncé during her world tour last year. Jay-Z raised eyebrows during his acceptance speech by talking about the fact that his wife, Beyoncé, has 32 Grammy awards but has never won best album of the year. She holds the record for the most Grammy wins ever and something does not add up. Jay-Z definitely made a valid point.

In other news this week, turn to our Nutrition pages to read about the foods you need to be eating to boost your brain power. What we eat has an impact on our whole body, we need to understand what good nutrition does for our physical and mental health. If more people understood why they should eat certain foods and avoid others, I am sure that people would be much healthier all around.
