The biggest night in the world of television finally took place after a four-month delay due to the actor’s and writer’s strikes which hit Hollywood last year. This week we are taking a look at the Emmy Awards, all the winners and the losers too.

The hit show “Succession” led the way in terms of nominations with a whopping 27 for its fourth and final season. The hugely popular satirical comedy drama centres around a wealthy media owning family. Actors Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Matthew Macfayden received awards for their performances on the show. The show also won the award for outstanding drama series for a third time.

The drama show “The Bear,” which has been running for two seasons, was also a big winner on the night. The comedy drama is about an award-winning chef who goes back to his home town to run a kitchen. Actors Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jeremy Allen White all won awards for their roles in the show. Christopher Storer won for his directing and writing. Fans will be pleased to know that a third season has been confirmed.
