This is in line with the latest report on fines obtruding motorists not giving way to pedestrians. Whilst this is a piece of laudable news we need to take into account a few key issues motorists are facing.  At the outset, some pedestrians think that the pedestrian crossing is their own and they can cross the road when they feel like it. Prompt but comprehensive steps are needed to curb this ongoing problem I wish to cite that pedestrians need to bear this in mind when crossing the roads. Most of the time they are on the phone walking down very slowly to head to the opposite side. When a motorist is driving down and you see a pedestrian running from one end to another it’s not the motorist but the pedestrian who is at fault.

To add some don’t even use the pedestrian crossing but cross when they feel like it while motorists are driving down. The most common reason is the swelling population and the number of vehicles.  Only effective safety measures can provide safety to pedestrians. I feel the most crucial safety measure is the construction of more subways. The subways can act as a measure to cross the roads safely. In addition, wide pavements exclusively for pedestrians can provide them with much-needed safety. They can use crossroads prudently without getting involved in unnecessary accidents which will lead to severe penalties and fines.
