We are almost into the third month of 2023 and so far there have been quite a few good movies that have been released. This week we are taking a look at some of the best films which are due to be released over the rest of the year.

If you are a “Scream” fan then you will be happy to know that there is another one coming out. “Scream VI” has an impressive cast including the franchise veteran Courtney Cox and Jenna Ortega who stared in last year’s “Scream.” It is worth noting that writer Kevin Williamson, who started the whole franchise of comedy-horror with the first “Scream” in 1996, returns as an executive producer this time around. The first movie was directed by Wes Craven and “Scream VI” is directed by Matt Bettineli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

“Leave the World Behind” looks like a really interesting film that’s due out later this year. Starring Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke, the movie is based on a novel that came out in 2020 by writer Rumaan Alam. The film centres around a couple who rent out a quiet vacation home in New York and are then forced to deal with mysterious events when the home owners return. Mahershala Ali, Kevin Bacon and Denzel Washington also star in the psychological thriller.
