Come November and all roads will lead to Expo Centre Sharjah. Every year, we wait for this moment to arrive. The 41st edition of Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is all set to begin from Nov.2. Everybody in the UAE is super excited for SIBF. Lots of authors of international repute will grace the much-loved event. A total of 1,632 exhibitors from 83 countries will attend the event. I am also looking forward to meet and listen to a few of them.

This year International Man Booker Prize winner Geetanjali Shree will also be there.

Hope to get a copy of her book once the fair begins. While Deepak Chopra, Rupi Kaur, Pico Iyer, D.J. Palmer, Megan Hessa and many more will be attending the event. It is wonderful to see many local young authors also.

The 12-day event is a fantastic treat to the mind and soul. I never get to see so many authors at one place and the best of part of this event is that it is completely free. As we all know, since the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has almost diminished therefore we would be able to enjoy freely with family and friends. Even a lot of children flock to the book fair almost every day to meet their favourite authors.
