When it comes to next year’s Grammy Awards, things are looking interesting. Critics are predicting who will be nominated as the first round of voting for the nominations began on Oct.13. This week we are taking a look at possible contenders for music’s biggest night with the final nominations due to be announced on Nov.15.

The prospect of a major rematch between Adele and Beyoncé is highly likely. The two music queens are predicted to be nominated for the categories of album, record and song of the year. This will be exciting as both artists have produced really good albums and singles which have both topped the charts around the world.

If a showdown between the two divas does happen, it will be echoing the epic showdown of 2017 which saw the A-list singers go head-to-head in the same categories. Adele won that battle and used her acceptance speech to tearfully claim that she didn’t feel she should win over Beyoncé calling her the “artist of my life.” A bit dramatic don’t you think? Nevertheless, another showdown will attract more viewers to the award show which will take place in February next year.

In other news this week, turn to our Health pages to read about obsessive-compulsive disorder, or OCD as it’s more commonly known. This is a mental health condition where someone has obsessive thoughts and behaviours which disrupt and cause stress in their daily lives. OCD is largely rooted in fear, but there are so many misconceptions surrounding it. If you or anyone you know is struggling with OCD symptoms it is best to seek professional support.
