Lady-Gaga

Lady Gaga

Who says talent must belong to only one genre? If this were the case, we would miss out on some amazing performances from singers who get into acting and vice versa. This week we are looking at some of the best and worst performances from pop stars who dared to dive into the world of the acting.

Lady Gaga is a multitalented human being. What a waste it would be if she just stuck to singing. Her performance in “House of Gucci” left critics raving about her acting skills. She plays a woman who marries into the Gucci family and has to deal with all the troubles that come with them. Gaga has had three Oscar nominations, winning one for music, with one of those nominations being Best Actress for “A Star is Born.” I am sure we have not seen the end of her in front of the camera.

Some describe Cher as the ultimate pop star turned actor. Cher won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1987 romantic comedy “Moonstruck.” Audiences love this movie and it is considered as one of the best romantic comedies of all time. Cher has starred in numerous other films and TV shows proving that she is as talented in front of the camera as she is on the stage.

In other news this week, turn to our Fitness pages to read about how long it takes to see results in they gym. All of us are guilty of pushing too hard and being impatient when it comes to building muscles and getting fit. Patience is important, as well as knowing exactly what to do and when to do it.
