Umm Al Quwain Municipality intensifies efforts to contain effects of oil spill

The Umm Al Quwain Municipality Department, in coordination with relevant authorities, is continuing its field operations to address the impact of an oil spill that has affected several of the emirate’s beaches. These efforts are focused on mitigating environmental repercussions and protecting coastal areas and the marine environment.

This work is part of a joint, coordinated response by the competent authorities to contain the spill and limit its potential impact on the beaches and natural features, thereby helping to safeguard the integrity of the emirate’s marine and coastal environment.
