Sheikh Mohamed praises teachers for shaping future generations

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed his appreciation and gratitude to teachers across the country, praising their vital role in shaping future generations.

Marking World Teachers’ Day, Sheikh Mohamed said the occasion was an opportunity for everyone to recognise teachers and thank them for the lasting impact they have had on their students’ lives.

A personal moment from Sheikh Mohamed’s own school days also highlights the enduring bond between teachers and their students. In 1971, he presented a photograph of himself to his teacher.

More than five decades later, the gesture carries a lasting message about the influence of teachers and the importance of remaining grateful and loyal to those who help shape young minds.

Sheikh Mohamed said a teacher’s impact remains long after the classroom experience has ended, stressing that expressing gratitude and loyalty to teachers is a duty.
