Naif Police Station, in partnership with the General Department of Traffic, launched a campaign to raise awareness and enforce rules for users of scooters, e-bikes, and bicycles in its area. This effort is designed to improve road safety and reduce risky behaviors that endanger both road users and pedestrians.
Brigadier Omar Musa Ashour, who leads Naif Police Station, highlighted that Dubai Police is committed to promoting a culture of road safety as part of its broader strategy for accident reduction and upholding top safety standards.
The campaign was divided into two main sections: awareness and enforcement. During the awareness phase, scooter and bicycle users were educated on the importance of following traffic rules and using designated lanes, with an emphasis on wearing suitable protective gear.
