Jordanian child Katia’s mother thanks Sheikh Mohammed, UAE for providing 'hope and care' during her treatment

Katia\'s mother heaps praise on the UAE – and Dubai in particular – for whole-hearted support.

The mother of the Jordanian child "Katia," battling spinal muscular atrophy, expressed her sincere thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to the health sector in Dubai, on the occasion of her daughter completing her treatment journey and receiving a gift and a personal message from Sheikh Mohammed, concluding her message by praising the role of the UAE in providing hope and care.
Katia's mother said on her "Instagram" account: "A collection of photos from Katia's treatment journey, a journey whose details we will never forget, nor the people who were part of it. All thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Dubai Health, Al Jalila Foundation, and Al Jalila Children's Hospital, for their support and care for us and for Katia."
Katia makes an energetic gesture from her hospital bed.
She also expressed her deep gratitude to the health institutions in Dubai, saying: "Our experience at Al Jalila Children's Hospital was exceptional, thanks to the kind treatment of the medical and nursing teams, coordinators, reception, and all support teams, and the attention, humanity, and high professionalism we experienced."
She continued: "Thank you to everyone who took care of Katia and supported us during this journey, and for every kind word and effort made for her. You all made this difficult journey much easier for us."
She added at the conclusion of her message on Instagram: "Special thanks to the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai for embracing us and giving us hope, support, and care. We will be always grateful to everyone who contributed to Katia reaching treatment, and we carry in our hearts all the love and appreciation. From the heart... thank you."
