Sheikh Hamdan mourns passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has mourned the passing of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who passed away on Monday.

Sheikh Hamdan said: “May Allah have mercy on Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Today, we lose a cherished member of our family, bidding him farewell with hearts that accept God’s will and decree. Sheikh Ahmed will remain in our hearts, memories and prayers.

“We ask Allah to envelop him in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon us, as well as upon the people of Dubai and the UAE.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return.”
