Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, head of the Sharjah Human Resources Department, announced on the "Direct Line" programme that a salary increase will be implemented for all employees in response to the enhanced standard of living in the Emirate of Sharjah.
He stated that the standard of living has been improved for 3,270 government employees in senior grades, at an annual cost exceeding Dhs160 million.
Additionally, as part of the commitment to retirees, support has been allocated to 1,470 government retirees, with an annual expenditure of more than Dhs37 million.
The adjustments also cover salaries in the "General Jobs" system, which includes positions in engineering, medical and veterinary fields, as well as medical, pharmaceutical, and medical technician roles.
In terms of ongoing social support, the standard of living has been increased for 1,473 beneficiaries from the Social Services Department, with each receiving an additional Dhs3,375.
The details of the salary increase for the general jobs system in the Sharjah government, according to job grade, are as follows:

For all Special Grades (A and B) and Grades 1 through 8, there is an increase of Dhs3,375.
