His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has sponsored the treatment of Katia Abu Al Saud, a young Jordanian toddler suffering from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) in Dubai.
Katia’s family announced that her case had been adopted and that she was now closer to her dream of receiving treatment and recovering. They expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid for the generous humanitarian gesture, which they said had given Katia hope for a new chance at life.
The family said that the adoption of Katia’s case represented a significant step in her journey towards recovery and renewed her hope of overcoming her health challenges and reaching the stage of healing.
They also thanked everyone who contributed to supporting Katia’s case, whether by sharing her story, praying for her, donating or helping amplify her voice, stressing that the support had a profound impact on her journey.
The family expressed hope that Katia’s journey would end in recovery, praying that Allah would grant her health and well-being and reward everyone who contributed to supporting her.
