Dubai Charity Association launched its annual education support campaign for 2026 under the slogan "Alif Ba," aiming to empower young generations through education and provide an integrated package of educational initiatives benefiting students of various age groups, within the United Arab Emirates and in 15 countries around the world.
The campaign reportedly seeks to provide a comprehensive and sustainable support system covering basic educational and logistical components, starting from providing school supplies such as uniforms and school bags, and laptops, and sponsoring the education of orphans, and covering tuition fees for needy students, reaching up to building and equipping complete educational environments, such as establishing schools, and Quran memorisation centres, and equipping classrooms, especially in developing and less fortunate communities which lack formal educational institutions.
Engineer Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member, Treasurer, and Operations Director of Dubai Charity Association, said: "Education is not just an inherent human right, but the fundamental pillar for building sustainable and prosperous societies. We renew through the (Alif Ba) campaign our firm commitment to empowering the generations of tomorrow locally and internationally, out of our belief that investing in education is a direct investment in manufacturing the future, and that every child possesses promising energies capable of making a positive difference in the advancement of their community if the appropriate environment is provided."
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the partners in giving and benefactors in the UAE for their continuous trust in Dubai Charity and their constant support for its humanitarian initiatives.
Benefactors can contribute to "Alif Ba" campaign through many donation mechanisms and innovative digital services of Dubai Charity on its website, such as donating with digital cryptocurrencies, and the digital donation platform using Metaverse technology, as well as the Dubai Charity application on smartphones, and smart donation boxes available in shopping malls, gas stations, and other public places.
