Al Dhafra Municipality maintained about 43 kilometres of roads in this year so far

Al Dhafra Region Municipality continues to execute maintenance and rehabilitation works for damaged asphalt pavement layers on a number of roads across various cities in the region, as part of its ongoing programme to develop and maintain infrastructure, which enhances road network efficiency, raises traffic safety levels, and supports sustainable development goals and quality of life.

The maintenance and rehabilitation works include about 43 kilometres in Al Dhafra region during the year 2026, according to an approved schedule which ensures the completion of works with high efficiency and quality, while applying the best technical and engineering specifications and standards, contributing to maintaining road network readiness and the sustainability of its performance.

The Municipality affirmed that periodic and preventive maintenance works represent one of the main bases of its plans, as they contribute to maintaining the efficiency of the road network and providing a safe and comfortable transportation environment for residents and visitors, keeping pace with the urban growth and rapid development witnessed by Al Dhafra region.
