Abu Dhabi launches campaign to curb illegal car washing in unauthorised areas

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has launched a field awareness campaign to address the issue of vehicle washing in unauthorised locations.

This initiative is part of the "Our Home, Our Responsibility" campaign, which seeks to boost community understanding about the importance of maintaining the city's aesthetic and civilised look, while also minimizing practices that negatively affect the quality of life in residential neighbourhoods.

The campaign aimed at reaching all community members to educate them about the adverse effects of haphazard vehicle washing, such as water accumulation on streets and sidewalks, which detracts from the city's appeal.

As part of the campaign, the municipality conducted field visits in several residential areas to engage directly with residents, offering them tips and guidance. Additionally, public awareness workshops were organized in various locations to further spread the message.
