Despite reports of missile and drone threats across parts of the region, the UAE has maintained a high level of preparedness, with advanced defence systems and coordinated emergency measures working to safeguard its airspace and communities.
The country’s robust safety standards, efficient crisis management, and well-established security infrastructure have reassured residents and travellers alike.
Airports remain operational with limited flights and plans of going 100 per cent are being discussed and daily life continues with minimal disruption, reinforcing the UAE’s reputation as one of the safest places to live in the region.
For millions of expatriates and citizens who call the Emirates home, the decision to fly back during a period of regional uncertainty highlights the deep trust placed in the nation’s ability to protect its people. In challenging times, the UAE’s commitment to security, stability and the well-being of its residents continues to stand as a defining pillar of life in the country.
Sarah Silsbury, Digital creator in UAE, and a native of the UK said, “UAE residents who are currently stuck in the UK can return to Dubai.
“Emirates airline is running special repatriation flights to bring UAE residents back.
“If someone wants to travel, they should go to Heathrow Airport and contact Emirates staff.
“She says you will need a valid Emirates ID to be eligible.”
She wrote, “YOU CAN GET HOME TO DUBAI Thanks to the incredible support of @uaegov and @emirates repatriation flights are operating to bring people home. After my flight for tomorrow was suddenly cancelled, I went to the Emirates help desk at Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport and within three hours the most AMAZING staff had booked me onto a repatriation flight alongside other expats trying to get back to their families The kindness.

Indian national Avi Sharma, Real Estate Agent in Dubai, said on her Instagram account, “She is proud to be a UAE resident and believes the UAE is one of the safest countries in the world. ”
She gives a personal example of her 13-year-old child being in Dubai alone, and she still feels comfortable because of how safe the country is.
Her message is basically appreciating the safety, security, and stability in the UAE.
She wrote, “I don’t feel scared because I trust the leaders and the system that keeps everyone safe.”
Another Indian national Rishika Amihani, Public figure in Dubai, wrote, “Mumbai will always be home… but Dubai is my peace. Grateful to go back to a place that feels safe, stable, and strong.”
Rishika uploaded the video from Mumbai Airport.
After landing in Dubai, made another video and explained, “Every country faces challenges — real strength is in how leadership responds and protects its people. Respect to the UAE for standing tall, and thank you to the realtor community for showing the real ground reality.”
Akshay Chopra, author, Inventor, Global Innovation Leader, 8 patents, said that he is on a flight heading to Dubai.
He mentions that many people around the world are saying to leave or stay away from Dubai because of the current regional tensions.
But he was doing the opposite — he is traveling into Dubai.
He said he still believes Dubai/UAE is safe and a good place to be, despite the news and concerns.
“I trust the UAE's safety and stability and its leadership.”
Dalila Laaribi, RERA certified Realtor and content creator, said, “This how the UAE paid me…”
She basically sarcastically explanated about being “paid by the UAE.”
She said, “Yes, the UAE has been paying me to talk good about Dubai and the Emirates. People often ask how much they have paid me.”
Dalila explained they didn’t pay her with money. Instead, she said they “paid” her with things like, “safety, security, love, acceptance and similar benefits of living in this beautiful country.”
She’s responding to people who accuse influencers of being paid by the UAE government to promote Dubai. Dalila highlights the point that cash isn’t everything. She said the reason she speaks positively about Dubai is because of the quality of life and safety she experiences in the UAE.
