His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mourned the death of prominent businessman Hussain Abdulrahman Khansaheb, one of the UAE's most prominent entrepreneurs and a man of great philanthropy due to his significant contributions to community, humanitarian, and charitable projects.
Sheikh Mohammed said on X, “Our heartfelt condolences to the family of the late businessman Hussain Khansaheb, one of the most prominent pioneers of entrepreneurship in the UAE. His company, established in 1935, laid the foundations for many of the nation’s infrastructure projects.
“Yet, what truly immortalizes his name is not only his role in nation-building, but also his pioneering spirit in community, humanitarian, and charitable initiatives. His legacy includes generous contributions to the construction of homes for underprivileged families, housing for orphans, healthcare centers, and many other projects that continue to serve society.
“These are the deeds that endure. These are the values that elevate a person’s worth and etch their memory into the collective heart of the nation.
“May God have mercy on him, grant him eternal rest in His vast paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family.”
