Dubai announces free parking on Prophet's birthday

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced that all public parking spaces will be free of charge on Friday, the day of the Prophet's Birthday holiday, with the exception of multi-storey car parks and the Al Khail Gate car park (N.365). Toll fees will resume on Saturday 6 September 2025.
The RTA has explained that customer happiness centres will be closed during the holiday, but the smart centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar and at the RTA's headquarters will be open 24/7 as usual.
Both the Red and Green lines of the Dubai Metro will operate from 5:00am to 1:00am on Friday, while the Dubai Tram will operate from 6:00am to 1:00am.
