VIDEO: Emirati media personality Anas Bukhash survives car fire after technical delay at ABtalks filming

In a moment filled with tension and astonishment, Emirati media personality Anas Bukhash revealed that his car caught fire unexpectedly after filming an episode of his popular show ABtalks. He confirmed that a minor technical delay was the reason he and his team narrowly escaped what could have been a major disaster.

Bukhash wrote in a post on his Instagram account about the sudden fire that engulfed his car right after he finished filming.

He shared a video showing flames consuming the vehicle and captioned it: “I hesitated to post this… but then I thought, why not? Life isn’t just about good moments — even the hard ones should be shared.” He added that he somehow felt the burning car was his before confirming it with his own eyes.

Bukhash explained that a technical glitch during recording delayed filming, which in turn saved their lives. He wrote: “If the delay hadn’t happened, we would have still been inside the car… and if it had been delayed a few minutes more, we might still have been in it too.”

He stressed that the incident made him realize how fortunate one can be when chance intervenes during dangerous situations.

The media personality pointed out that the fire broke out near a construction site where workers had fire extinguishers, which helped control the flames and prevent them from spreading. He added in his Instagram post: “If the fire had happened while we were driving, or even at home, only God knows what could have happened.”

Bukhash ended his post with words of reassurance: “Alhamdulillah, we are safe and sound… thank you to everyone who reached out, and apologies if I couldn’t respond to some of you.”
