UAE’s Al-Ameen service urged public to report suspicious behaviour to security authorities

UAE’s Al Ameen Service on Monday issued a statement urging the public to heighten vigilance and attentiveness, to monitor any suspicious observations or behaviours, and to report them to the relevant security authorities.

The statement emphasised that the responsibility for community security lies with all members of the community.

Al Ameen subsequently said in a post published on the social media platform Instagram, which read, "Due to the unstable security and political situation in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East, Al Ameen Service urges the public to remain alert and attentive, observe and report any suspicious behavior or observations to the security authorities and Al Ameen Service, so that the necessary measures can be taken."

It added, "You can report through Al Ameen’s official channels or by calling: 800 4444. The safety of society is everyone’s responsibility."
