Dubai civil defence teams brought under control a fire that broke out in a building materials warehouse of a building under construction in Al Habtoor City. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
The civil defence’s operations room received a report that a fire erupted on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighting teams from Al Quoz Fire Station rushed to the scene and arrived there within six minutes to start dealing with the incident, which turned out to be a moderate fire in a building materials warehouse of a building under construction in Al Habtoor City.
According to a civil defence source, the rapid response and efficient teams enabled the field commander to declare that the fire was under control at 2:46pm and that no human casualties were recorded.
The site, which was left to be cooled, would be handed over to the competent authorities to determine the cause of the fire after the necessary procedures were completed.
