Pure Ice Cream Company has commenced construction on its new Dhs80 million factory in Dubai Industrial City.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mohammed Shael Al Saadi, CEO of the Dubai Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Sector at the Department of Economy and Tourism, along with Jorve Gui, Chairman of Graviss Group, the parent company of Pure Ice Cream, and other dignitaries.
The factory is set to begin operations in 2026, becoming one of the largest ice cream production facilities in the UAE.
It will significantly increase Pure Ice Cream’s annual production capacity to 50 million litres of ice cream.
To further enhance its production capabilities, Pure Ice Cream has signed an agreement with Inspire Brands in the United States to manufacture Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
In line with sustainability goals, Pure Ice Cream will use biodegradable materials for its three different packaging sizes and will generate on-site solar energy.
The project aligns with the company’s commitment to achieving climate neutrality and is expected to provide 60 new job opportunities upon completion.
Dubai Industrial City, home to over 1,100 prominent global and regional clients and more than 350 operational factories, hosts leading food and beverage manufacturers such as Asmak, Patchi, and Tamur Al Barakah.
The groundbreaking of Pure Ice Cream’s new factory marks another milestone in the city’s growth, which was established in 2004 with a pioneering model catering to various sectors, including base metals, machinery, natural minerals, food and beverages, transportation, and chemicals.
