Fire breaks out in Al Barsha restaurant in Dubai after gas leak

A fire destroyed a restaurant after a gas leak at its facility in Dubai on Tuesday night.  

The Dubai Civil Defence teams rushed to the site of the fire in Al Barsha.

The authorities said, “Dubai Civil Defense teams successfully brought under control a fire caused by a gas leak in a restaurant in the Al Barsha area in record time.”

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.

The authorities Dubai Civil Defence team members were busy initiating the cooling process and inspecting the building for any structural damage.

The authorities have urged members of the public not to approach the site of the accident and refrain from spreading rumours on social media platforms.

The officials said violators will be penalised.
