Expect delay and traffic on Emirates Road due to maintenance work, say Dubai authorities

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai announced that delays are expected on Emirates Road due to maintenance and renovation work. This requires drivers to plan their journeys in advance to ensure smooth access.
The RTA informed its customers that there will be delays on Emirates Road on the section between Dubai-Al Ain Road and the Al Amardi-Al Awir intersection towards Sharjah. This delay will occur during weekends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., until August 30, 2025.
The RTA urged commuters in a tweet on the X platform: "Plan your journeys in advance and depart early to ensure on-time arrival."
