NCM predicts light rain, cloudy weather during Eid Al Fitr holidays

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) expects Wednesday’s weather to be generally partly cloudy and cloudy at times in some coastal and western areas, with the possibility of light rains at night and on Thursday morning.

It is also expected that winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, turning to southeasterly, light to moderate, with a speed of 10 to 20, amounting to 30 kilometres/h, and the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

Thursday’s weather, according to the NCM, will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, especially at night and on Friday morning, with the possibility of rains falling on the coastal and inland areas, with a rise in temperatures.

Light to moderate and active northeasterly to southeasterly winds are expected to blow at times, with a speed of 10 to 20, amounting to 35 kilometres/h.

On Thursday, the sea will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman. NCM indicated.

Friday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in general, with the possibility of rains falling on separate areas, especially the northern and eastern coastal areas, with a drop in temperatures.

"The winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times, and the sea will be light to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman," NCM reported.

Saturday's weather will be partly cloudy to generally cloudy, with the possibility of rains falling in some eastern areas. Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 kilometres/h, NCM indicated, adding that the sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate at times in the Sea of Oman.
