Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, on Wednesday offered his sincere condolences on the death of Mohammed Al Sharekh, Kuwaiti entrepreneur and pioneer of the programming sector in the Arab world.

In a tweet on the X platform, Sheikh Hamdan said, “My sincere condolences on the death of Mohammed Al Sharekh, Kuwaiti entrepreneur and pioneer of the programming sector in the Arab world.

The establishment of Sakhr Computer Company in 1982 was the beginning of a technological and programming revolution, the fruits of which we are reaping nowadays. His legacy in the field of programming as well as his support for the Arabic language will remain an essential driver for the future of this sector.”

May Allah have mercy upon Mohammed Al Sharekh and may his soul rest in peace.
