Massive fire brought under control in Al Quoz area of Dubai

Civil Defence teams douse a fire in Dubai.

Civil Defense teams in Dubai were able to control a fire that broke out in a warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 1 with no injuries. Official spokesperson reported that the operations room of the Dubai Civil Defense received a tip-off on Monday morning, stating that a warehouse locating in Al Quoz industrial area caught fire.

Instantly, a team from Al Quoz station (as a first responder and a competent authority) rushed to the scene. The found that the warehouse was containing flammable materials and the fire was massive. Accordingly, support teams from the Al Barsha Fire Station were dispatched to help control the fire, the spokes person said.

He added that the field commander of the incident announced that that the teams were able to control and extinguish the fire within 30 minutes. This was followed by the cooling operations, he added, affirming that no injuries were reported. After that, the competent authorities proceeded with examining the scene to uncover the reasons of the fire, the spokesperson added.
