Dhs500 fine, 4 black points for making illegal turns from non-designated areas in Dubai

Dubai Police have released video footage of vehicles violating traffic laws in the emirate.

The police said, “Dubai Police smart traffic systems monitor the violation of turning from a non-designated area.”

The police also said that there is a Dhs500 fine along with 4 black points.

The video showed motorists vehemently ignoring the sign board depicting no U-turn and keep driving.

The authorities said that over the past 10 months, around 29,463 u-turn violations were registered.

There were 6 people injured in such incidents. The police said they will not be lenient on traffic violators.

Dubai Police also urged motorists to abide by the traffic laws to avoid accidents.
