The Sharjah Executive Council, on Tuesday, issued a decision upon which there will be a 50 per cent cut in fines resulting from municipal violations committed and registered before issuance of the directive. The discount is valid for 90 days.

The Council also issued a decision to reimburse compensation to owners of homes affected by natural disasters in the Emirate of Sharjah. The Department of Social Services has been tasked with reimbursing those whose homes have been damaged because of the natural calamities.

The Executive Council also issued a decision to affiliate the Dog Care Centre in Sharjah of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) with the Sharjah Sports Council.
