A man in China wins paid leaves for 365 days in company's raffle draw

Paid leave is what all employees dream of as this gives them the liberty to enjoy holidays without worrying about any pay cut when they return to office.

There are very few occasions in a year when employees do get paid leave like on national holidays and weekly offs but these are too less for a long holidays with family and friends.

The very thought of someone getting a full year paid leave seems like something beyond our imagination but an employee in private firm in China has got this unimaginable, never-thought-of and never happened on this planet opportunity.

According to the local media reports an unnamed firm invited all its staff for a gala dinner and conducted a raffle draw.

One of the staff of the firm in Shenzhen won 365 days of paid leaves in the raffle draw.

The video of a man sitting with a woman and child holding a large cheque which reads, ‘365 days of paid leaves’ has gone viral.

According to the local media reports even the winner didn’t believe this to be true so he confirmed about its genuinity repeatedly.

One of the company employees told local media that the firm will discuss with the winner if he would prefer to encash or enjoy his paid leave.

Local media reported that the company hosted the annual dinner after a hiatus of  three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A lucky draw was held to provide boost its employees’ morale and to lessen the swork stress.

Other prizes included a day or two of extra paid time off, and among the punishments were serving as a waiter.
