Sharjah announces Ramadan timing for government departments

The Directorate of Human Resources - Sharjah Government announced in a circular issued on Wednesday the Ramadan timing for government departments, which will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Thursday.

The departments, authorities and institutions that follow shift system will set the timing according to the work system and need, the circular added.

Ramadan 2022 likely to begin on April 2

Ibrahim Al Jarwan said the Holy Month of Ramadan will begin on Saturday (April 2, 2022) and Eid Al Fitr will fall on Thursday (May 2, 2022), adding that Ramadan in 1433 Hijri Year is expected to last for 30 days.
