In 2021, a Pakistani preacher died while interpreting a Holy Quran verse during a lecture.

The video, which showed the moment of the death of the Pakistani Islamic preacher, Sheikh Abdulmateen Asghar, while delivering a lecture on the merit of the Prophet’s companions, may God be pleased with them, also went viral on social media.

It was learnt that the Sheikh passed away while he was interpreting a Holy Quran verse, which says, “Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah — they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness.

“For them is forgiveness and great reward.”
