A video of recorded the moment of the death of the Pakistani Islamic preacher, Sheikh Abdulmateen Asghar, while delivering a lecture on the merit of the Prophet’s companions, may God be pleased with them, has gone viral on social media on Thursday.
From the video clip documenting the incident, it appears that the Sheikh passed away while he was interpreting a holy Quran verse, which says, “Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allah — they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for righteousness.
“For them is forgiveness and great reward.”

Thousands of social media users expressed their heartache for the death of the head of Ahl Al Hadith Association in Lahore, Abdulmateen Asghar, which prompted them to publish it widely on their own pages on social media.
