31-year-old Emirati drowns off Abu Dhabi, rich tributes pour in

The Abu Dhabi Police found the body of Mohammed Aboud Al Kaabi, an Emirati, 31, on the beach of an Abu Dhabi island following rescue operations that continued since last Saturday evening.

According to investigation, the details revealed that the young man went with a number of his friends on a cruise to one of the capital’s islands.

Upon their arrival they began implementing their marine activities, including swimming in the evening.

Police said that friends were surprised with the disappearance of Mohammed Aboud Al Kaabi.

They immediately started searching for him.

One of them contacted the General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police.



The police, along with other authorities took all measures to search for the young man.

They found the body on Monday morning.

The Emirati community was shocked with the death of young man.

Friends and relatives said they were really saddened by the news of the death.



The community has prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his family and relatives patience and solace at this tough time.

As soon as the news of Abboud Al-Kaabi came out, rich tributes started to pour in.

Bader Al Kaabi said, “May God have mercy on the polite and cheerful man with a wide mercy, and we ask God to make him with the martyrs and the righteous…”

Amani Al Kaabi said, “We belong to God and to Him we shall return, may God accept him from the martyrs and replace his youth with endless bliss…”

Khalid Bin Dhuha said, “May God have mercy on Muhammad Abboud Al-Kaabi and forgive him, we consider him one of the martyrs, God willing...”

Another user wrote, “Oh God, forgive him and have mercy on him and accept him as martyrs and put him in the vastness of your gardens, the most merciful of the merciful…”
