Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, shared a photo with his year-old twins on his Instagram account on Friday.
Sheikh Hamdan captioned the image, “Feels like just yesterday this picture was taken. It's been one year today.
“Happy birthday Rashid & Shaikha and to all the children of the world.”
The residents across the seven emirates and abroad have been sending birthday greets to the crown prince on social media platforms for his twins.
Family member Sheikha Maryam Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum said on Instagram, “Happy birthday Rashid & Shaikha love you both so much ️”
The adorable picture garnered 200,000 likes and thousands of comments within an hour of sharing the post on Instagram.
Sheikh Hamdan got married to Sheikha Shaikha Bint Saeed Bin Thani Al Maktoum in May 2019 in elegant ceremony in Dubai attended by all the Rulers and leaders.

The other brothers Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai, got married to Sheikha Maryam Bint Butti Al Maktoum and Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation got married to Sheikha Madiyah Bint Juma Al Maktoum.
In December 2021, Sheikh Hamdan shared an adorable picture of him holding his twins Sheikha and Rashid.
Both the kids are not facing the camera but are dressed up in traditional Emirati attire.
While Sheikha is donning the dress of UAE colours, Rashid is in traditional white Kandura with a Gotra completing his look for the UAE’s Golden Jubliee.
Sheikh Hamdan regularly posts his pictures and videos on his social media accounts.
The sport-enthusiastic Crown Prince is an avid lover of nature and animals.
His videos and photos usually garner thousands and thousands of likes and comments on social media platforms.
He has over 14.2 million followers on his Instagram account.
