His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, received condolences on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman; His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; and His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
Their Highnesses expressed sincere condolences and sympathy to the sons of the deceased, the Al Nahyan family, and the people of the UAE on the passing of Sheikh Khalifa.

Also condolences were offered by a number of sheikhs, ministers, senior civil and military officials, and citizens and residents.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the relations between the UAE and Sri Lanka and opportunities for enhancing their cooperation in various areas. They also talked about regional and international developments and issues of mutual concern.
In a statement, MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al Issa extended the wishes of all MWL affiliates to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed for more success in serving his country and its people, following in the footsteps of his predecessors.
