Sheikh Mohammed, Sultan of Brunei discuss ways to enhance bilateral ties

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday received Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit  2022, which is being held at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The meeting discussed enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, boosting the level of trade, and facilitating cooperation between investors from the UAE and Brunei in the fields of tourism, financial services, and agriculture.

Later beginning the Summit, Hassanal Bolkiah took to the World Government Summit platform to discuss global challenges and risks to human security and inequality.

Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah recalls late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, saying, "History is a continuous chain of events. The present is only an extension of the past."
