Nanny sentenced to jail for photographing a naked baby and sending video clip to her boyfriend

The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced a nanny to three months in jail to be followed by deportation on charges of photographing a naked baby and sending the video clip to her boyfriend.
The court also ordered the defendant’s mobile phone to be confiscated.
The case dated back to November last year when a European woman saw her nanny watching a video clip with her three-year-old baby girl.
According to her statement in the investigations, the complainant inquired from her nanny about the types of video clips she was watching with her baby but the nanny was confused and hurriedly entered her room trying to delete the video clips she had on her phone.
The complainant added that she was able to watch the video clips stored on the nanny’ phone where her baby girl and the nanny appeared in indecent positions.
She also knew that her nanny sent the video clips to her boyfriend through WhatsApp and consequently she reported the incident to the police.
On interrogation, the nanny admitted to having photographed the baby girl and sending the video clips to her boyfriend via WhatsApp.
