UAE reports 353 new virus cases, administers 14,984 doses of vaccine

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 302,346 additional COVID-19 tests and detected 353 new coronavirus cases.

The new cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 885,089.

According to a statement by the ministry all the infected individuals belong to different nationalities and are in a stable condition after receiving the necessary care.

Number of total deaths in the UAE due to COVID-19 complications remained 2,302 as ministry announced no new deaths due to virus infection.

The Ministry also has announced that 14,984 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given in the past 24 hours.

The total number of doses provided up to Saturday stands at 24,321,692 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 245.91 doses per 100 people.

The Ministry wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery and called on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities.

It urged residents to adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.

The Ministry also noted that an additional 1,033 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19.

This brings the total number of recoveries to 850,156.
