VIDEO: Only in Dubai: Aladdin rides a magic carpet on busy streets and water bodies
A video clip of a young man, dressed in a costume that mimics the famous character "Aladdin," flying in the streets of Dubai on his magic carpet, sparked the curiosity of many to know his identity.
In the video, the young man is seen riding on the carpet, which aroused everyone's astonishment.
The young man, who was later discovered that he is the American Youtuber Mark Daton, known as "Rhyz," said in media statements that the idea came to him to use an electric skateboard covered by a carpet to look like a magic carpet.
Rhyz pointed out that he was inspired by the American Jesse Willens, who was seen riding a magic carpet on the streets of USA, using an electric skateboard, according to CNN.
Rhyz further revealed that he had contacted one of his friends, who specializes in fashion design, in order to create a costume similar to Aladdin.
While explaining about the magic carpet, he said it is an electric skateboard that can be operated by a remote control and is topped with a carpet.
Rhyz carried out the idea last Halloween at the end of October.
The American youtuber, residing in Dubai, said that he had chosen the Gold Souq area in Dubai, because it is the largest gold market in the world, and that it attracts tourists and many owners of international brands.
He further noted that he had flown on one of the beaches where water was mild.
