In a humanitarian gesture, Dubai Police helped a person of determination cross a road.

A video showed a Dubai Police patrol car blocking the traffic to assist the person on an electric wheelchair to cross the road.

The video was captured by social media user @mrshayer_07.

The video has been doing the rounds on social media users.     

It is not clear where the incident took place.

Twitter users have praised Dubai Police’s act.

A Twitterati Soumia Saad wrote, “Indeed, a classy scene from Dubai Police, which is working hard to make citizens and residents happy…”

Another wrote, “May God grant hope and security in the country of Zayed…”

Samar Kamal said, “Humanitarian gesture from Dubai Police. Police help a disabled person cross the road, the summit of humanity and splendour, may God protect the Emirates from haters…”
