His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, at the UAE pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai on Wednesday.
Both leaders stressed during the meeting that the UAE is hosting a major global event such as Expo, with its readiness to celebrate its golden jubilee and its readiness to welcome the next fifty years, reflects the influential role that the state is eager to play to encourage global dialogue towards the search for solutions and alternatives that would release the latent energies.
The Earth emphasises the diversity of its cultures and civilizations and motivates it to establish new partnerships that support the global development process, with solutions that empower everyone, developed and developing countries to participate in the creation of a better future in which all enjoy equal opportunities for prosperity, progress.
Their Highnesses praised the ideas and innovations included in the massive exhibition that serve humanity and help it overcome existing challenges and transform news into growth opportunities, noting how the event provides an exemplary opportunity to exchange successful experiences and discover new ones partnerships through which it can navigate the desired future, and what the event represents in its cultural aspect is an ideal window to see the civilizations of the world, east and west, and the consequent impact that is embodied in the acquisition of greater intellectual and cultural skills rapprochement between peoples, which constitutes a solid basis for successful collaborations between them and in the service of their aspirations towards the future.
The meeting also discussed a number of issues relating to the interest of the nation and the citizen, and the plans and programs which are adopted and implemented, which would bring prosperity and progress to the UAE society and the measures taken are aimed at motivating the locals to come up with ideas and present the results which form the backbone of the UAE's progress and advancement in various territorial, highlighting its influential role at regional and global level, and consolidating its distinct development model based on conscious planning and flexibility in the face of surrounding developments, with particular attention to the importance of continuing to work in order to ensure the preservation of the income and accelerate the achievement of strategic objectives within senior executives characterized by the highest levels of efficiency and following the highest international standards.
