Dawoodi Bohra leader Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin makes brief stopover in Sharjah

Sultan ul-Bohra, the 53rd Dai ul-Mutlaq, Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS), Head of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra Muslim Community, made a brief stopover in Sharjah, on Saturday (Oct 9, 2021)  afternoon en route to Mumbai.

He was received by Members of the Protocol Department,  officials of Sharjah Civil Aviation, diplomats, and Dr. Syedna's Representatives of the Community in the Emirates.

In a short address, Dr. Mufaddal Saifuddin advised the community to remain loyal and faithful to the country of residence, share the vision and ethos of the UAE leadership and work shoulder to shoulder with Emirati brothers and contribute their best talent, knowhow, and engage in nation-building endeavour, as always.

He prayed for their success and urged them to abide by Shariat, perform deeds and actions that please Allah and are of help and benefit to fellow citizens, and  strive for their uplift and betterment in day-to=day life – be it health, welfare, education, career or business.

Dr. Mufaddal Saifuddin thanked His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE,  and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces,  His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Their Highnesses the Rulers of all Emirates, and Their Highnesses the Crown Princes of all the Emirates, and prayed for their wellbeing and people of the UAE and for the continued progress and prosperity of the country.

Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin lauded the Rulers of the Emirates for their long-term vision, foresight, dedicated efforts and ambitious plans for the country's future, especially in the historic "Year of the 50th" to make the UAE an ideal destination for work, entrepreneurship, education and life.

Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin recalled earlier visits to Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and expressed a desire to visit again and stay in the UAE for some time, and meet citizens and community members in every Emirate.

Members of the community bade an emotional farewell to their leader, praying for his good health and long life and requesting his long and elaborate stay amidst them in the near future.
