The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Health Department and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, issued an update home quarantine for those in close contact with a positive case, within the framework of the preservation of health and safety of the society, as of August 15. August 2021.

The emergency teams explained that the duration of the quarantine is up to 7 days, with a PCR re-test on the sixth day, and if the result is negative, the e-bracelet will be removed on the seventh day.

The quarantine for the unvaccinated will extend for ten days, with a PCR re-test on the ninth day, and the e-bracelet will be removed on the tenth day if the test result is negative.

Persons registered in the quarantine programme and living with infected can do the test free of cost without having to book an appointment and then can remove the e-bracelet at Abu Dhabi Health Services Assessment Centres in the port of Zayed in Abu Dhabi, in Al Ain at the exhibition centre in Al-Khabais, in Al Dhafra in Zayed city or in one of the hospitals of the health company.
