A car driver caused a major crisis in Al Aflaj in Saudi Arabia after crashing into a fuel pump, according to a video, which went viral on social media sites.

A lady stopped her car at a petrol station to fill it up with fuel, then for some reason whatsoever, rammed into a fuel pump.

The pump crashed to the ground, then, the car bonnet caught fire.


The woman fled with a man who was in the car. All other motorists in the station also fled before the station worker tried dousing the blaze with a fire extinguisher with the help of others.

In March, similarly, a fire broke out at a petrol station in Jeddah after a car collided with the oil dispenser.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle.

After the fire broke out, all the station workers fled the scene.

Passers-by managed to extinguish the fire.

The Civil Defense stated that it followed up with the incident and made sure that the fire was completely extinguished.
